I thought when I had Curran - "how could I ever love her as much as I love Brayden?" But you do. There are special things about Brayden and Curran that make me love them so much. Here are a few of those special things:
Brayden
- He is a boy. Not knowing much about little boys before he was born, my relationship with and abundance of love for him has been the most wonderful surprise.
- He is a total narkie - short for narcoleptic, he isn't really, but man does this kid love to sleep. All those horror stories about kids and not sleeping - not him, not ever!
- I know everyone thinks he looks like Steve, but he does so many things that remind me of me and my sisters. He loves grape flavored medicine, loves binkies, walked early, etc.
- He is honestly the funniest person I have ever met. The stuff that comes out of his mouth is insane.
Curran
- I wanted a girl so badly when I found out I was pregnant with number two. Honestly, the day I found out she was a girl was one of the happiest days of my life. Corny but true. She is a dream come true.
- She has so many traits uncharacteristic of a girl. She is so aggressive, she hits people, she always is busy and on the go, she won't let you hold her, etc. But then she has such girly qualities too - sits completely still when I put bows in her hair, loves babies, loves her dolls, and talks up a storm.
- She is also absolutely hilarious and cute as a button.
